Mutiny Within Webisode 1
Metal newcomers Mutiny Within have been on an amazing journey for the past two years. From signing with Roadrunner to solidifying their line-up, then writing, recording, and going on their first-ever US tour, the band has grown, learned and experienced so much right in front of the camera lens -- and all before the release of their debut record.
As we approach the February 23rd release date for Mutiny Within, the band has compiled various installments of the footage documenting each step along the way, and are debuting the resulting webisodes right here every Friday to let us in on their adventure.
Check out part 1 below, and don't miss your chance to pre-order the album at a discount and with some bonus extras right here.

Bill Fore = Jersey Shore?
AJ here. First off, to read my comments about the new MTV show, Jersey Shore, check out this interview. Anyway, we thought it’d be fun to discuss the similarities and differences between our drummer Bill Fore, and the cast members of the much-maligned MTV reality show, ‘Jersey Shore.’ Give then popularity of the ‘characters’ on Jersey Shore, and Mutiny Within’s debut on the national metal stage, we thought now would be as a good a time as any to compare and contrast Bill and the show’s ‘situations,’ so to speak!
Similarity: He’s in shape.
Difference: He actually works out and is steroid-free.
Similarity: He’s tan.
Difference: It’s all natural.
Similarity: He’s got tattoos.
Difference: It’s not of a Cadillac or any other Italian stereotype.
Similarity: Bill spends 25 minutes on his hair every morning.
Difference: His hair actually looks good….kiddddddddd.
Similarity: Bill hangs out at the Jersey Shore.
Difference: Bill’s actually from New Jersey.
Similarity: Bill’s got piercings.
Difference: They’re not through his cock.
Similarity: Bill went to college.
Difference: He graduated.
Similarity: Bill has a nickname.
Difference: It’s Bill.

Tour Diary #1
What’s up guys, AJ here checking in for week 1 of our North American tour with Arch Enemy! We’re in Canada right now, on our way to Montreal to play Club Soda. We’ve done 4 shows so far and it’s been killer. Nokia Theater in NYC was the best show we’ve ever been a part of, thanks to everyone who came out!
Anyway, we’re in Canada right now and we went to a bar. We’re in Montreal, to be specific, and we’re very drunk right now…
This place is awesome and we’ve only been here for a few hours. The hotel bathrooms are extra small, we can’t even fit in them to take a shower. Drinks are pretty much the same price, except they give us Canadian money as our change, very interesting. But otherwise, the city seems pretty cool and we’ve met some really chill Canadians so far, haha. Can’t wait to play for them tomorrow night!
Our tour manager, Tommy Jones, is especially enjoying his day off today. By the way, he’s one of the hardest working guys here. He deals with everything behind the scenes, nobody has a clue. Because he does all of that, we’re able to concentrate on just playing the best show that we can, night after night.
So anyway, Tommy has had a few too many Southern Comfort and Cokes tonight, is my point.
Chris made me try some English beers tonight. I can’t remember the name of any of them, but they tasted quite good. Chris was happy to be at this Irish pub in Montreal, said it reminds him of his home in England. They have pubs there within walking distance of their houses, how cool is that?
As a joke, we were going to try this idea to have a running story to post on our sites, where each person in the band adds a line. So I started with “So Jim was late to school, so he ran down the stairs and put on his shoes”. Then Bill added, “But then Jim realized that his shoes were full of yogurt.” That’s when we decided to stop, haha, it would've gotten too crazy. Maybe we'll revisit that idea this week....
